About us...
Established in 2007, Natural Trekking Tours Inc.'s
vision is to introduce the beauty of the local north shore mountains to all fitness levels.
Owned and operated by Lois Tomlinson, Natural Trekking operates year-round tours offering hiking
and snowshoeing. We are located in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Se habla espanol.
Lois lives in North Vancouver and will be principle Guide / Tour Leader for our day hikes.
Lois has over 30 years of experience in the travel & tour industry travelling to over 60 countries. Her passion is hiking and snowshoeing
and she loves to share this passion with others. In addition to hiking the local mountain trails, Lois has completed
high altitude expeditions to:
- Mt. Kenya (4985m)
- Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m)
- Mt. Meru, Africa (4566m)
- Mt. Elbrus, Russia (5642m)
- Mt. Aconcagua, Argentina (6962m) - twice
- Island Peak, Nepal (6160m)
- Mera Peak, Nepal (6654m)
- Kala Patthar, Nepal (5643m) - twice
- Everest Base Camp, Nepal (5364m) - twice
Training
Lois has 120 hours of Advanced Back-Country First Aid including a 40 hour Advance Medicine Certificate, obtained through Wilderness Alert. Click here for the

Lois has also completed a Mountain Navigation course
and a Wilderness Survival course with the Canada West Mountain School.

Natural Trekking Tours Inc. adheres to all local, provincial and federal regulations in Canada. This includes
maintaining proper insurance, land use permits and business licences for each relevant region.
