The tour was wonderful. A perfect ending to our Alaska cruise. Lois was there waiting for us when we disembarked and was agreeable to any changes we wanted to make based on what we had already seen while in Alaska. We could not have asked for a better guide. She was wonderful with our grandchildren and was able to answer any questions we had. She is a delight! We all whole heartedly recommend your company and Lois to anyone wanting to see the best of Vancouver.

You are deserving of special thank yous for getting me started with the energizing Nordic Walking. I continued for about three Wednesdays after you left for the Himalayan hike. I now feel happy to just pole about my own neighbourhood. I may appear in your group later; but now with my gardening, 'Curves' exercises ,plus some choice flat areas in Lynn Valley for poling, I am well set up for lots of exercise, fresh air and fun.

Natural Trekking hosting the world at the 2010 Winter Olympics

"I contracted Lois to work the tour program I had built for an international company called Sportsworld UK - a hosting company for high level sponsors for the major sporting events around the word, including the recent 2010 Winter Olympics. Our major contracts were Samsung, the London 2012 Organizing Committee and the BC Lottery Corp. Lois' responsibilities were to provide local tours to international travellers with a focus on commentary and adaptability.

The reports that came back about Lois were all outstanding. Her knowledge of the city she lives in and the passion for it, for which she shared with her guests, combined with her wa rm, friendly and caring personality won her a 'Gold Medal' in the hearts of many people who were lucky enough to have her on their tour. In fact she was held in such high regard she was requested by the President and Vice President of Samsung on numerous occasions to be their personal local guide.

"I visited Vancouver to see friends.  I decided to enjoy hiking during the daytime while they are at work.  I concerned being alone (because I sometimes get lost) and wanted to find a private nature guide who can go hiking with me.  I googled and found www.naturaltrekking.com via the official tourism site of BC (www.hellobc.com). The guide lady was very kind and I enjoyed her lecture/explanation re nature/plants/wildlife just like an "eco tour", which is du jour.  It was very educational and I found it very good deal.  The route was consulted based on my experience and preference.  I choose Quarry Rock in Deep Cove. During winter, there are snowshoeing tours instead of hiking, and I'll definitely try this when I visit Vancouver in Snow season.  I recommended the tour to solo travelers, small groups like families or friends."

We Reached the Summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro!
"As mentioned to you over the phone, we had an awesome time. Mary was waiting for us at the gate on the last day. She had travelled about 8 hours from Kenya to meet us! We were very happy to let her know that all three of us were able to successfully summit. Thanks to all the help given to us by John, Freddie and Ben who were kind enough to not only be extremely patient with us, but also help carry our day pack with water. John and his crew are really awesome and they were all genuinely looking out for us and took excellent care of us. Just cannot understand how Joseph managed to make 'chapathis' (Indian bread) from scratch for lunch on the day we summitted!! He also sent juice and snacks through some of the porters to meet us on the way back, as we might become hungry before reaching camp. Very thoughtful gestures!!! Thank you and Mary to have arranged everything that went very smooth."

It was our first time snowshoeing. Lois was great. She made sure all our needs were taken care of. We felt safe and had such a fun time.
