Group Hiking & Snowshoeing

Increase your cardio and endurance with a weekly hike on our beautiful North Shore Mountains.

Date: Every Thursday starting Sep 2, 2010 - Oct 27, 2010 (Additional days will be added later in September)

Time: 6:00pm

Nordic Walking/Urban Poling

Keep your 'bikini body' toned for the balance of the summer and prepare for the snowshoe & ski season!

Nordic Walking is the latest craze in the exercise arena. And for good reason, with Nordic Walking you can burn 20 - 46% more calories than walking alone. Here are some of the benefits of Nordic Walking or Poling:

- involves 90% of your muscles, especially your core muscles
- is low impact and reduces stress off the knees, hips and ankles
- improves posture & stability, strenghtens abdominal & back muscles
- enhances energy & mood while reducing stress
- fun & easy to do and is adaptable to all fitness levels

Group Training for Nepal or Mt. Kilimanjaro

- $120 per month (includes HST)
- Includes 4 hours/week. Each week consists of:
- 2 evenings of 2 hours hiking or snowshoeing
- additional half or full day hikes/snowshoes will be added at an incremental charge

In addition to the group training, we would highly recommend the following Training Schedule.

On this schedule is a detailed sheet for each month. Start your program slowly and gradually increase the intensity.

A great idea is to get a workout buddy!
